The car is believed to be built on the Heartact platform, the same platform from which Maruti Suzuki has built the S-Presso, Celerio, Baleno and Ertiga so far.
The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 will be sold alongside the existing Alto 800. The car will be launched in a total of 12 variants, out of which 8 will come with manual transmission options, namely STD, STD(O), LXI, LXI(O), VXI, VXI(O), VXI+ and VXI+(O) and 4 automatic variants of the VXI. , including VXI(O), VXI+ and VXI+(O).
The new J Alto K10 will be bigger in size than the 2022 Alto if launched. The car will measure 3,530 mm in length, 1,490 mm in width and 1,520 mm in height with a 2,380 mm long wheelbase. This will increase the car’s wheelbase by 20 mm making it 85 mm longer and 45 mm higher. This car will get 17 liter capacity tank and 177 liter boot space.
The exterior of the Alto will be similar to the Celerio and Alto 800, while its front profile is similar to the Grand Vitara. As can be seen in the leaked images, the Alto K10 will be available in 6 colors Solid White, Granite Grey, Silky White, Sizzling Red, Speedy Blue and Earth Gold.
Launched with an all-black interior color scheme, the Alto K10 will get cabin comforts in the form of power window button on the dashboard, digital instrument cluster, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual front airbags. Rear parking sensors and manual air conditioning will also be available.
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 gets the same engine that powers the Celerio and S Presso. The 1.0-litre K10C DualJet petrol engine churns out 67hp of power at 6,000rpm and 89Nm of torque at 3,500rpm. The engine is also mated to a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox.While the company also offers a CNG option in the new Alto 10, the price of the car may be slightly higher than before.
